Introduction to Adobe Illustrator: Create Your Own Logo

Are you interested in digital illustration, graphics, and creating logos & icons? You can do all of these things with Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Illustrator is widely used vector graphics software, that allows you to easily scale your creations. Illustrator is the perfect tool for creating icons and graphics, it allows you to customize and create typography, draw freehand and trace images into vector graphics. Through this workshop, you will begin to form a grasp of the fundamentals of this tool while also creating the basic forms that will help lead to your own logo creation. Together we will become familiar with the workspace and tools that will help you with a basic understanding of how Illustrator functions. We will learn how to use the pen tool and shape building tools to quickly create our own unique geometries. We will work through editing a typeface in order to give your logo its own personality. Finally, we will look at how to bring all of these elements together through color, placement, and exporting. This course is for beginners, no experience with Illustrator is necessary.
